20 Spots: Official Rules

20 Spots is run by 30kweb, a web design studio in Lagos, Nigeria (hello@30kweb.com, WhatsApp +2348111066910).

This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Meta, TikTok or X. Entrants release these platforms from any liability.

Entries open on Sunday 1 November 2026 and close on Thursday 10 December 2026, 11:59pm Lagos time. Entries received outside these times aren’t accepted.

Winners are told by Thursday 17 December 2026.

• A real, operating small business based in Nigeria, run by an owner aged 18 or over.
• No website yet, or one that is broken or badly out of date.
• One entry per business.
• Not a current 30kweb client, or a family member or close friend of the 30kweb team.
• Follows @30k_web on Instagram, TikTok and X, and has tagged 5 real accounts in the comments of our 20 Spots post on Instagram.
• Able to send us your content (logo, photos, prices, text) within 7 days of winning.
• Happy for us to feature your business and its new website in our posts.
• No purchase or payment is needed to enter or to win.

We may ask for proof that you own or run the business. We can refuse an entry that doesn’t meet these rules.

To be considered for any spot (₦30,000 or ₦50,000):

• 1. Follow @30k_web on Instagram, TikTok and X. All three, and keep following until winners are announced. We check, so you’ll give us your handles.
• 2. Tag 5 friends on our 20 Spots post. In the comments of our pinned 20 Spots post on Instagram (@30k_web). Friends or fellow business owners, real accounts only. They don’t have to do anything.
• 3. Fill in the entry form. At 30kweb.com/20: your details, your handles, and one short answer: what would a website change for your business?

To be considered for a ₦50,000 spot, also: post a short video. On your business account on TikTok, Instagram or X, with #30kweb20 and a tag of @30k_web. Show what you sell and say what a website would change for you (15–60 seconds, phone quality is fine), then add the link on the form. If you aren’t picked for a ₦50,000 spot, your entry is also considered for a ₦30,000 spot.

You must follow @30k_web on Instagram, TikTok and X, and keep your 5 tags on our Instagram post, from when you enter until winners are announced; we check this. Tag real accounts only (friends or business owners). Fake, duplicate or bought accounts disqualify the entry. The people you tag don’t have to do anything and aren’t entered themselves.

A ₦50,000 entry’s video must be public, posted on or after the opening date, and stay up until winners are announced. Entries that are incomplete, copied, automated or made for someone else’s business are disqualified.

There are 20 prizes:

• 15 × our Business Landing Page package, which we normally sell for ₦30,000, free of charge.
• 5 × our Website + Admin Panel package, which we normally sell for ₦50,000, free of charge.

The Business Landing Page package includes:

• All the pages your business needs
• Custom design, not a template
• Bookings straight to your WhatsApp
• Contact form to your inbox
• WhatsApp enquiry button
• Free Vercel hosting — forever
• Basic SEO + sitemap
• Submitted to Google (Search Console)

The Website + Admin Panel package includes:

• Everything in the Business Landing Page
• Password-protected dashboard
• Add / edit / remove products
• Upload photos, prices, descriptions
• Or a full booking system instead — both is +₦15,000
• Google Business Profile setup — show on Google Maps
• Training walkthrough included
• AI-Ready — found by ChatGPT & Google AI

Not included:

• A custom domain (.com or .com.ng). Winners buy their own (usually ₦20,000–₦50,000/year) and we connect it for free. Until then the site runs on a free web address.
• Paid add-ons beyond the package. Winners can add them at the normal price.
• Cash or any other alternative. The prize can’t be transferred or swapped.

We build winners’ websites in batches within 8 weeks of winning, once we have their content. Our usual Terms of Service (30kweb.com/terms) apply to the build, except that there is no deposit or fee for the prize package.

This is a judged promotion, not a lottery or raffle. A panel from the 30kweb team reads every valid entry and scores it out of 20:

• Need (8 points): How much a website would change things for this business.
• Story (6 points): A clear, honest answer (and video, for ₦50k spots). Production value doesn’t count.
• Readiness (4 points): Can send content quickly and replies on WhatsApp.
• Variety (2 points): A spread of industries and cities across the winners.

Likes, views and follower counts don’t count. Ties go to the earlier valid entry. The judges’ decision is final.

For ₦30,000 spots we judge your written answer on the entry form; for ₦50,000 spots, your answer and your video together.

We check each entry (that you follow us on all three apps and tagged real accounts, and, for ₦50,000 entries, that the video is real, public, tagged and from the business’s own account), and we may have a short call or voice note with shortlisted entrants to confirm they own the business.

We contact winners on WhatsApp and by email. To claim the prize, a winner must reply within 48 hours, accepting the prize as described and agreeing to send their content within 7 days. If they don’t, the prize goes to the next entrant on the shortlist.

Once a winner has confirmed, we announce their business name and social handle on our pages. We feature entrants only with their permission.

Didn’t get a spot? Everyone who enters gets an entrants-only offer: start a paid website with us by Thursday 31 December 2026 and we’ll set up your domain free (you only pay for the domain name itself) and put you at the front of the build queue.

The offer is for one website per entry, can’t be swapped for cash, and applies on top of our usual prices and Terms of Service (30kweb.com/terms).

You confirm that your video (if you send one) and anything you send us are yours to share and don’t break anyone else’s rights.

By entering you let us share your entry video, if you send one (credited to you), and, if you win, your new website and its story on our social media and website.

We use the details on the entry form only to run this promotion: to check entries, contact shortlisted entrants and winners, and build winners’ websites. We don’t sell them.

We keep entries for 6 months after the promotion closes, then delete them, except winners’ details, which we keep as client records. More in our Privacy Policy at 30kweb.com/privacy.

We may cancel or change the promotion if something outside our control stops it running fairly (for example fraud or a technical failure), and we’ll say so on this page.

We aren’t responsible for entries that don’t reach us because of a network or platform problem.

These rules are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
